The waterproof 600D ripstop material over the back and neck keeps the horse dry while the lightweight sides in fine mesh polyester both protect against insects and provide excellent breathability to keep your horse cool and comfortable throughout the day. Additionally, the rug's zebra pattern has a proven deterrent effect on all types of flies and insects. The stripes confuse the flies and prevent them from landing.
The rug, featuring both shoulder gussets and taped seams, as well as a smooth nylon lining at the mane and tail to minimize the risk of rubbing, is held in place by double chest buckles, three buckles on the wide belly flap, and two fastenings on the neck. At the top of the neck, there is also a small velcro strap to attach to a halter or fly mask, ensuring that the neck stays in place and does not slip down.
To ensure optimal comfort, the anatomically designed rug also includes an elastic stretch panel in the area between the neck and mane.
