Spirit, from Back on Track, is a highly elastic, thin, and smooth stress hood that, by providing a gentle hug-like sensation, has a calming effect that helps the horse focus. The hood encloses the ears and sits like a mask on the horse's head.
Thanks to the integrated Welltex® technology, the material absorbs and returns the horse's body warmth as beneficial infrared energy (FIR). This stimulates blood flow in the head and facial muscles, which in turn reduces unnecessary tensions.
The stress hood's elastic seams, placed to minimize pressure on nerves and muscle attachments, ensure, along with high breathability, optimal comfort and flexibility.

Welltex®
Welltex® technology's unique composition of natural minerals captures body heat and converts it into long-wave infrared energy, which is then reflected back to the skin, joints, and muscles. The infrared energy is known for its ability to promote blood circulation, thus aiding in recovery from injuries, wear and tear, inflammations, or strained muscles.
Start using Back on Track
Back on Track's products with Welltex® technology should be introduced gradually to accustom the body to the effect. The recommendation suggests a maximum of 4 hours/day for the first 2-3 days, then gradually increasing usage by one hour at a time. Once the introductory period is over, products should be used for at least 8 hours per day, preferably longer. It may take up to 10-20 usage days before achieving maximum results.
However, if you experience a decline in the effect, taking a break from the product might be beneficial. After the neutralization period, you can start reintroducing the product.
The products are best used in direct contact with the skin but also work with a thin layer of fabric underneath. They can be used during both rest and activity, but the best effect is achieved during activity, with higher body temperature and stronger heat reflection.
Use alongside liniment or similar, judging its effect, as the effect may be enhanced with simultaneous use.
Considerations
An increased blood flow, in some cases, can have an effect perceived as irritating or tender. The reaction is entirely individual, and everyone experiences the effect differently, but it's good to be aware of it to address if necessary.
The initial reaction can occur after just an hour's use. If discomfort is experienced, refrain from using the product more on the same day, and instead, try introducing the product more gradually over the following days.

Do not use during pregnancy or gestation.

For maximum effect, keep the product clean. The minerals providing the effect are embedded in the material and cannot be washed or worn away. Always follow the washing instructions on the product label.
