During warm summer months, horses can be bothered by flies, gnats, horseflies, and other pesky insects. This fly rug with a detachable neck and ear bonnet protects your horse against them. The rug features a detachable neck and hood that can be removed when flies and other insects are less active. It has a belly flap that fits nicely around the belly and is secured with both hook-and-loop fasteners and surcingles to prevent shifting.
The fabric composition is 100% polyester with a fine mesh. The rug offers a proper fit and includes a nylon insert in the front and top of the neck to prevent chafing.
It also features three surcingles, double front closures with buckles, shoulder gussets, and a tail flap. Equipped with elastic leg straps and a tail cord.
Machine washable at 30 degrees. Close the hook-and-loop fastener and wash the rug in a laundry bag. Preferably do not use fabric softener and do not tumble dry.
