The Horseware LED Red Light Therapy Hock Therapy Boot is a black therapy boot developed for the horse's hock. It can be used both before and after exercise, as well as for horses with stiff or sore hocks. The boot is sold individually (1 boot) and is equipped with 112 LED lights combining red light (660 nm) and near-infrared light (850 nm) to treat both the surface layers of the skin and deeper soft tissue. LED light therapy may help stimulate blood circulation and cellular activity, supporting the body's natural recovery, helping to reduce inflammation and promoting the natural healing process of the skin and underlying tissue.
The therapy boot is made from flexible and durable neoprene and features a built-in rechargeable battery for convenient cordless use. Three elastic hook-and-loop straps provide a secure, adjustable fit around the hock. The product includes a pulse mode and an automatic 15-minute timer. Before use, charge the boot for approximately 5 hours and do not leave the battery discharged for more than six weeks. The therapy boot should only be used on a dry horse and must not be applied directly to open wounds or if the product is damaged. Never direct the LED light towards the eyes. Dispose of electronics and batteries according to local recycling regulations.
Clean the boot using a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth. Never immerse it in water, as this may damage the charging port. Dirt on the LED lights can be carefully removed with a cloth lightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol. Do not fold the boot during storage. Store it flat or loosely rolled in its original packaging in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture, excessive heat and direct sunlight.
