The Horseware LED Red Light Therapy Leg Therapy Boot is a black therapy boot developed for the treatment of the horse's legs. It can be used both before and after exercise to support the recovery of muscles, tendons and soft tissue. The product is sold individually (1 boot), and you can select either the left or right leg in the size selector. The boot is made from flexible, durable neoprene and features four elastic hook-and-loop straps for a secure and adjustable fit.
The boot is equipped with 110 LED lights combining red light and near-infrared wavelengths to treat both the surface layers of the skin and deeper tissue. The red light (660 nm) acts on the skin's surface, while the near-infrared light (850 nm) penetrates deeper into the soft tissue. LED light therapy may help stimulate blood circulation and cellular activity, supporting the body's natural recovery, helping to reduce inflammation and promoting the natural healing process of the skin and underlying tissue. The boot features a built-in rechargeable battery for convenient cordless use, as well as a pulse mode and an automatic 15-minute timer.
Clean the boot using a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth. Never immerse it in water, as this may damage the charging port. Dirt on the LED lights can be carefully removed with a cloth lightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol. Do not fold the boot during storage. Store it flat or loosely rolled in its original packaging in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture, excessive heat and direct sunlight. Charge the product for approximately 5 hours before use and do not leave the battery discharged for more than six weeks. The product should only be used on a dry horse and must not be applied directly to open wounds or if it is damaged. Never direct the LED light towards the eyes. Dispose of electronics and batteries according to local recycling regulations.
