Horseware has developed its navy Dry Rug using an innovative three-layer construction, a kind of technology where each layer has its own purpose. When these layers are combined, ideal conditions for moisture evaporation are created, without any moisture transferring to the inside of the outer blanket.
The innermost layer consists of moisture-transporting polar fleece that supports the horse's natural ability to remove moisture from the coat.
The outermost layer of the underblanket is made of a 3D air net, designed to create extra air space for heat and evaporation. This layer minimizes the risk of the blanket becoming damp, thus avoiding the risk of the horse getting cold.
Between these two layers is 50g of airy wool fiber filling that provides the horse with extra warmth while helping to remove the moisture absorbed by the innermost layer of polar fleece.
