Waldhausen Health + Care Ice-Layer Neck Piece is designed to provide even cooling of the horse’s neck and perfectly complements the matching Ice-Layer Cooling Rug. Activated with water, the material creates a pleasant evaporative cooling effect that helps keep the horse comfortable on hot days or after exercise.
Simply soak the neck piece in water, wring it out until it no longer drips, and attach it securely to the rug and halter using the practical hook-and-loop fasteners. The water-saving design offers an alternative to traditional hosing.
The neck piece should only be used under supervision and while the horse is resting. The matching cooling rug is not included and is sold separately.
