Horseware Amigo Bug Rug is a lightweight and well-ventilated fly rug that provides the horse with effective protection against both flies and UV radiation. The fly rug is made from a durable, tightly woven mesh material that offers approximately 65% UV protection. The extra-large tail flap provides increased coverage at the back and contributes to better protection against both insects and the sun’s rays.
For added comfort, a shine-enhancing lining is placed at the mane, shoulders and tail flap to help reduce friction against the coat. At the front, the rug closes with double straight front buckles, while front leg arches allow the horse good freedom of movement. Two adjustable crossed surcingles help keep the rug securely in place, and at the back there is a tail strap.
The rug is also equipped with loops for leg straps and attachments for a neck cover, which is sold separately.
