Amigo Bug Rug XL Plus is specially developed for larger and heavier horses. The fit is designed to provide more room over the shoulders and chest, a deeper drop over the body and a proportionally longer neck cover for improved coverage. The 20% deeper cut allows extra room for movement over the shoulders, while the 10% longer body length provides better coverage for horses with a more powerful build.
The rug is made from a soft, tightly woven mesh material that is both lightweight and durable while providing approximately 65% UV protection. The material helps protect the horse from both the sun’s rays and irritating insects. For added comfort, a silky-smooth lining is placed over the mane, shoulders and in the extra-large tail flap, helping to reduce friction against the coat and promote a glossier shine.
At the front, the rug closes with straight front buckles, while front leg arches provide the horse with good freedom of movement. Two adjustable crossed surcingles and a tail strap help keep the rug securely in place. The rug is also equipped with loops for leg straps.
