The Horseware Amigo Plus 1200D 50g in Burgundy/Navy/Grey is a lightweight turnout rug with 50 g of fill, designed to offer protection in changeable weather. It features a durable, waterproof and breathable 1200D polyester outer and a 210T shine-enhancing polyester lining that sits smoothly against the horse’s coat. The lining is anti-static and anti-bacterial, and is combined with fiberfill in the rug for added comfort.
This model uses the Surefit Neck Design with a V-Front Closure to relieve pressure at the shoulder, and dual leg arches to support freedom of movement. A detachable hood is included and attaches via secure hood loops. The rug is equipped with three crossed surcingles, leg loops, a tail flap and a wipe-clean PVC tail cord for a stable, adjustable fit. Reflective strips improve visibility, while a waterproof tail flap adds extra coverage. The rug is liner compatible and has liner loops for easy attachment of Horseware liners (liners are sold separately).
The rug is machine washable at 30º. Close all hook-and-loop fastenings and attach all clips/straps before washing. Line dry/air dry only, away from direct heat. Do not bleach, tumble dry or iron. Horseware suggests having turnout rugs professionally cleaned. For storage, once dry, fold neatly into a breathable storage bag and keep in a cool, dry place away from moisture, excessive heat and UV exposure. The original packaging can be reused as a bag for equestrian gear or for turnout storage in the off-season.
