The Bombers 2.5-Ring Moulded Mullen is a multi-ring bit that combines poll pressure with a mild leverage effect. This 2.5-ring version is the gentlest among multi-ring bits, thanks to the extra half-ring that reduces leverage and provides a softer impact. Also known as a Pessoa bit, the Moulded Mullen features a uniquely molded mouthpiece with a slightly flattened shape and a 45-degree angle, offering soft and evenly distributed pressure across the tongue. This makes it particularly suitable for horses with sensitive mouths or issues in the bars, as well as those uncomfortable with traditional metal bits. The mouthpiece has a flexible stainless steel core, encased in a non-toxic, UV-resistant synthetic material approved by FDA standards. Available in two sizes: standard and a smaller pony model, it comes with a nylon strap. It is not suitable for horses that chew on the bit, and damage from chewing is not covered by warranty.
