  • Information
  • Developed to effectively relieve pressure in the horse's mouth and achieve a softer and safer communication between the rider and the horse. The loose ring in the side part rotates, reducing the pressure on the neck and jaw, and is therefore less affected by rein aids. The reins are attached to the large D-ring, which moves independently of the side part.

The Bombers bit with a port is designed to provide maximum tongue relief. To achieve this tongue relief, the bit is constructed so that most of the pressure is distributed across the bars, making a proper fit necessary to limit lateral movement. The mouthpiece naturally follows the horse's movements and rests comfortably thanks to the Swivel.

The bit has a thickness of 13 mm and 8 mm at the raised part in the middle. The shanks are 7 cm long, measured from the mouthpiece to the highest point of the small ring.

Made of titanium, which offers numerous positive effects and also makes the bit easy for the horse to accept:

    • Antibacterial
    • Biocompatible
    • Extremely lightweight
    • Durable
    • Increases saliva production
    • Quickly warms up
    • Non-toxic and allergy-friendly
    • Easy to clean

  • About the Brand
  • Bombers bits are handcrafted, anatomically designed bits made in South Africa. The majority of Bombers bits are made from what's known as sweet iron, a metal that is blue when the bit is new but rusts and becomes sweet and warm in the horse's mouth with use. This leads to improved saliva production and greater acceptance of the bit. Bombers bits also have a slightly rounded shape on the mouthpiece, which distributes pressure more evenly in the mouth and reduces the risk of pressure sores.
