The Beris Bit with Port, model Konnex Thin Soft, is a slimmer and more refined version of the classic Konnex design. With a thickness of just 15 mm, this bit provides increased space in the horse's mouth. The well-balanced port relieves tongue pressure, contributing to a more comfortable contact. The Konnex mouthpiece combines an anatomical shape with clear tongue relief and sits stably in the mouth thanks to the smooth transition between mouthpiece and rings. Its streamlined design offers a more responsive feel in the hand.
The loose rings, running through a copper sleeve, allow the bit to move more freely in the horse's mouth and reduce wear, enhancing durability. The Konnex design provides a combination of stability and tongue relief, which can be beneficial for horses with limited space in their mouths or those that prefer less pressure on the tongue. Note that the mouthpiece is not intended for horses that chew on the bit. Pony sizes come with proportionally smaller side pieces.
