A Double Jointed bit from Bombers with a Lock Up function, which means the bit loosens if the horse pulls and instead acts as a straight bit, making it easier for the rider to regain contact gently. As with all Bombers Blue bits, the blue areas rust to become sweet and increase the horse's salivation.

About the Brand
Bombers bits are handcrafted, anatomically designed bits made in South Africa. The majority of Bombers bits are made from what's known as sweet iron, a metal that is blue when the bit is new but rusts and becomes sweet and warm in the horse's mouth with use. This leads to improved saliva production and greater acceptance of the bit. Bombers bits also have a slightly rounded shape on the mouthpiece, which distributes pressure more evenly in the mouth and reduces the risk of pressure sores.
