  • Loose Ring Bradoon Soft Contact is a double jointed snaffle bit with an anatomical shape that conforms to the horse's mouth, enabling gentle and even pressure distribution. Made of Cuprigan, an alloy consisting of 89% copper, 7% aluminum, 3% iron, and 1% zinc, whose effect stimulates the chewing process and increases saliva production.

When Cuprigan material comes into contact with moisture, air, and heat, it undergoes a rust reaction called oxidation. This results in a sweet taste on the bit's surface, making it easier for many horses to accept.

A double jointed bit has two breakpoints, allowing the bit to conform optimally to the horse's anatomy. The middle part lies flat on the horse's tongue, exerting even pressure throughout the horse's mouth, unlike a single jointed bit whose breakpoint exerts greater pressure on the outside of the tongue, the bars, and the palate. This particular bit also has a slightly curved shape, which further reduces pressure on the bars and makes the bit milder than a regular three-jointed bit.

Bits with loose rings are more flexible, allowing the horse to determine how it should lie, unlike bits with fixed rings that remain stable in the horse's mouth and are therefore less flexible for the horse. Loose rings, however, have the advantage, compared to fixed rings, of providing a quicker release, making them very suitable for beginners on horseback. Bits with loose rings are usually recommended for more experienced horses, as young horses, horses in training, or horses having difficulty finding support on the bit typically perform better on bits with fixed rings where they receive more support.

The bit's thickness is 14mm. The diameter of the rings is 5cm.
