  • Loose Ring Snaffle Soft Contact Magic System is a single jointed snaffle bit with a lock-up function. Made of Cuprigan with rings in stainless steel. Cuprigan is an alloy consisting of 89% copper, 7% aluminum, 3% iron, and 1% zinc, whose effect stimulates both the chewing process and increases saliva production.

When Cuprigan material comes into contact with moisture, air, and heat, a rust reaction called oxidation occurs. This results in a sweet taste on the bit's surface, making it easier for many horses to accept.

A single jointed bit has a breakpoint and primarily puts pressure on the bars, the outside of the tongue, and the palate. However, this bit's curved shape, together with the lock-up function, reduces pressure on the bars and makes it milder than a regular single jointed bit. The lock-up function locks the bit at a certain degree, preventing the nutcracker effect that two-part bits without lock-up can have.

Bits with loose rings are more flexible, allowing the horse to determine how they should lie, unlike bits with fixed rings that remain stable in the horse's mouth and are therefore less flexible for the horse. Loose rings, however, have the advantage, compared to fixed rings, of providing a quicker release, making them very suitable for beginners on horseback. Bits with loose rings are usually recommended for more experienced horses, as young horses, horses in training, or horses having difficulty finding support on the bit typically perform better on bits with fixed rings where they receive more support.

The bit's thickness is 12mm. The diameter of the rings is 7cm.
