Straight, flexible snaffle bit from Lippo with loose rings. The flexible mouthpiece, which adapts to the horse’s movements, is made of UV-stabilised polyurethane and reinforced with an embedded steel wire for added durability and safety.
Straight bits offer more stability and evenly distributed pressure in the horse’s mouth, compared to for example a single jointed snaffle. This bit also features a softer, bendable mouthpiece that conforms better to the horse’s mouth and movements.
Loose ring bits are more flexible and allow the horse to influence the bit’s position, unlike fixed ring bits which stay steady in the mouth and offer less flexibility. Loose rings provide quicker release, making them well-suited for beginner riders. However, they are typically recommended for more experienced horses, as young horses, horses in training or those who struggle to find contact often do better with fixed ring bits that offer greater support.
The bit’s thickness is 12–18 mm, with 12 mm at the center of the mouthpiece.
