A high-quality single jointed snaffle bit from Lippo with loose rings. Made of stainless steel and coated with blue Sweet Iron, which stimulates the horse’s chewing reflex and increases salivation.
A single jointed bit has one joint and mainly applies pressure to the bars, the outer parts of the tongue, and the roof of the mouth.
Loose ring bits are more flexible, allowing the horse to adjust the position of the bit itself, unlike fixed ring bits which sit more steadily in the mouth but offer less flexibility. The main advantage of loose rings is that they provide quicker release, making them well-suited for beginner riders. However, loose ring bits are generally recommended for more experienced horses, as young horses, horses in training, or those that struggle to find contact with the bit often benefit more from fixed ring bits, which provide greater stability.
The bit’s thickness is 14 mm.
