The Ancona Select from Schockemöhle Sports is an anatomically shaped Black bridle from the brand’s Select & Mix range. It is developed with a clear focus on reducing pressure over the horse’s nose and allowing good freedom of movement around the sensitive areas of the head during everyday riding and training.
The bridle features an English flash noseband with an anatomical design that follows the horse’s natural contours around the cheekbones. The specially designed construction keeps the noseband close to the horse’s head and supports an even, stable fit. Side rings allow the rear fastening to adapt to the shape of the horse’s head and help the noseband stay correctly positioned.
A key detail of the Ancona Select is the padded flash strap, which runs through a wide channel above the noseband. This channel is reinforced with nylon for increased stability and durability and is designed to reduce pressure over the horse’s nose, distribute pressure more gently and provide greater freedom around the airways so the horse’s breathing is not restricted. The bridle is also equipped with the proven anatomical headpiece from the Schockemöhle Sports Select & Mix series, which follows the horse’s anatomy and offers a comfortable fit around the poll and ears. A classic leather browband completes the clean and functional design.
