Zandona Magnetic Support Boot Air Front are black therapy boots for the front legs, developed for use during rest and transport. Each boot is equipped with 18 permanent magnets made from an alloy of neodymium, iron and boron with a nickel coating, with each magnet providing a magnetic flux density of 2600 Gauss. The boots are designed to provide magnetic support from the hoof up to the cannon bone while also supporting the suspensory ligament and tendon system, and can be used in connection with typical swelling after exercise.
The replaceable inner lining is made with COOLMAX® fibres that help transport moisture towards the outer surface to keep the skin dry. Additional reinforcement around the fetlock and pastern is designed to reduce wear caused by friction. Elastic straps with hook-and-loop fastening are designed to provide a comfortable and secure fit. The therapy boots are 100% made in Italy.
Use: Introduce the boots gradually and monitor the horse during the first uses. They should only be used when the horse is resting and cool and are not intended for turnout, walking, riding or other dynamic activity. Warning: Do not use during the acute phase of an injury (first 5 days), on visible bruising, open wounds, bleeding, untreated infections or other injuries in the affected area. Do not use together with anti-inflammatory medication, blood-thinning medication or active ointments/gels on the area. Do not use in the presence of a pacemaker or during pregnancy.
