The Waldhausen Body Bandage Elastic is a black elastic training band that is placed around the horse’s hindquarters to provide light contact and activate the hind end. The band is designed to encourage the horse to step further under the body with the hind legs and to carry more weight with the hindquarters, and it can be used both when riding and lunging.
The flexible, elastic material follows the horse’s movements and offers a compliant fit. The band features hook-and-loop closures on both sides and can be easily attached to either a lunging girth or a girth. The length is adjustable without stretch, approximately 170–190 cm, and can reach a maximum length of about 280 cm when fully extended, allowing it to be adapted to the horse’s size and needs.
