The Sensitive Bandage protects your horse from chafing and abrasions caused by spurs and leg aids, without hindering the horse from completing its movements in all gaits. The spur protection acts as an extra layer of skin and is optimal for inexperienced riders who may tend to use incorrect leg aids, sensitive horses, or to prevent hair chafing from the legs and girth on a freshly clipped horse.
The protection is made of soft, highly durable elastic and is easily fastened with Velcro straps. It is held in place with elastic bands that attach to the saddle's D-rings and can be adjusted depending on the girth.
It can be used both preventatively, by preventing wear and tear, and to protect against existing chafing and wear. It can be used in conjunction with spurs to protect against them, but remember that it does not replace a sound, correct, and gentle use of spurs.
