The Elastic Spur Guards from Waldhausen are black elastic guards designed to help prevent chafing and irritation on the horse’s sides when riding. They are particularly suitable for freshly clipped horses or horses with sensitive or thin skin that need extra protection from the spurs.
The guards are made from a soft, breathable and highly elastic functional material that follows the horse’s body for a comfortable fit. The durable construction is designed to lie smoothly along the sides. The spur guards attach with a hook-and-loop system featuring three loops and two adjustable straps with snap hooks, making it easy to fasten them to the girth and D-rings. The length without stretch is 155–170 cm.
