Zandona Superior Chafe Guard EVO is an elastic protective band designed to go around the horse’s sensitive girth area to help reduce rubbing, abrasions and sore spots where the rider’s legs may cause irritation. The guard comes in black and is made from high-quality elastic fabric with very good breathability, featuring dedicated ventilation lines that promote airflow and help keep the skin more comfortable.
The fabric is reinforced in the area exposed to the rider’s foot for increased durability and resistance to wear. Superior Chafe Guard EVO is 26 cm wide and includes a saddle attachment, hook-and-loop closure and four loops, two on each side, so it can be connected to different types of girths for improved stability. The product is 100% made in Italy. Size S measures 185 cm and is suitable for a chest/girth circumference of 170–189 cm and girths of 110–120 cm. Size M measures 205 cm and is suitable for a chest/girth circumference of 190–219 cm and girths of 125–135 cm. Size L/XL measures 215 cm and is suitable for a chest/girth circumference of 220–249 cm and girths of 140–150 cm.
Please note: Superior Chafe Guard EVO is naturally subject to wear, especially when used with spurs, which Zandona strongly discourages. Improper use, including use with spurs, may significantly shorten the product’s lifespan and is not considered a product defect.
