Sprenger Bow Balance, here in black/silver, are a pair of technically advanced stirrups with a strong focus on safety, comfort, and correct positioning. They are developed to reduce strain on the rider’s joints, tendons, and menisci, while providing optimal balance and increased stability in the saddle for a secure and confident seat.
The stirrups are equipped with the SYSTEM-4 joint, a patented joint mechanism that supports the natural, spring-like movement of the foot and ankle. This allows the foot to move more naturally and helps reduce strain on the ankle, knee, and hip. In the event of a fall, the joint can also help the foot release from the stirrup, reducing the risk of getting caught.
The curved shape of the stirrups allows the rider’s leg to lie closer to the horse, providing better contact and more precise leg aids. The shape also makes it easier to quickly regain the stirrup with the foot when needed, for example after a disturbance in balance.
The footplate is extra wide and equipped with rubber in two different hardness levels, providing even pressure distribution and improved grip. The shock-absorbing effect helps reduce impact from the horse’s movements in the gaits, resulting in a more comfortable stirrup.
