Lens Magnetic Amber is an interchangeable sun visor lens specifically designed for the YELM Hybrid Helmet 2.0. The sunglasses protect the eyes from the sun while also ensuring that you always have a comfortable visual experience – regardless of light conditions. The lens attaches with a magnetic system that allows you to quickly and easily mount or remove it without tools. In the event of an accident, the system is designed to automatically release the lens from the helmet to increase safety.
The lens is available in two variants adapted for different light conditions. The grey lens has a visible light transmission (VLT) of 37 % and belongs to category 2, making it suitable for strong light and sunny conditions as it effectively reduces glare. The lens in the colour Amber has a VLT of 58 % and belongs to category 1. Amber is better suited for lower light or cloudy days, where it enhances contrast and improves visibility in varying light environments.
Lens Magnetic is tested according to ISO 18527, an international standard for eye and face protection intended for sports use.
The product is only compatible with the YELM Hybrid Helmet 2.0.
