This black edition of the Cromo 2.0, with a matte finish, offers the same incredibly lightweight design and excellent ventilation as all KEP helmets. Additionally, it features KEP’s smart chin strap, made from genuine leather, with a five-point fastening system that prevents the helmet from shifting into the wrong position, ensuring optimal protection for your entire head—from the crown to the nape of your neck.
KEP’s focus on safety is forward-thinking, and the helmet is, of course, certified according to both the VG1 and EN1384 safety standards, giving you peace of mind and comfort in every situation.
What’s unique about the Cromo 2.0 is that the visor and panels can easily be removed and replaced. This gives you unlimited personalization options, allowing you to change the design of your helmet to suit your mood or occasion. The helmet is also equipped with an integrated microchip that can assist medical professionals in case of an accident by providing them with information about allergies, blood type, emergency contacts, and more.

Inner padding, size & fit
The helmet comes in two base sizes, M and L. You will also need to purchase a liner, which is sold separately.
Kep Cromo 2.0 offers two different liner models, either round or oval. Both variants come in sizes 51-62, so after determining your helmet size, simply choose the model that fits your head shape. If you're unsure, we recommend the round shape, as it's the most common. See the size guide to find out how to take your measurements. The inner padding is removable and can be washed when necessary.
M - fits sizes 51-58
L - fits sizes 59-62
The two different liner models available are:
Round - Liner/Innerpad Kep Cromo 2.0
Long/Oval - Liner/Innerpad Long Kep Cromo 2.0.
It’s a good idea to buy two sets of liners if you want to wash the padding more frequently during summer, for example. Another reason you might need an extra liner is if you want to switch between wearing your hair up and down, or if you want to wear a hat under the helmet during colder weather. In that case, you can purchase a larger liner for more room, then switch back to the original size liner for warmer conditions.
The same principle applies if you have a growing child—simply buy a larger liner as the child grows, rather than having to purchase an entirely new helmet.
Personalization with replaceable visor & panels
The Cromo 2.0 helmet is designed with an innovative mechanical locking system that allows you to customize your helmet—even after purchase. You can give your helmet a completely new look by easily swapping out the visor, front, or back panel—or all three! A popular choice is to replace the original visor with a sun visor!
KEP Italia offers a wide range of visors and panels in various designs, which are sold separately.
Microchip
The Cromo 2.0 comes equipped with an integrated microchip located under the front panel. This microchip connects to the KEP app, where you can store details such as warranty information and fill in your health details like allergies, blood type, and emergency contacts, making it easier for medical professionals to assist you in the event of an accident. By holding a phone to the tip of the helmet, anyone can access your details—without needing the KEP app installed—to better assist you in an emergency.
Ventilation
The helmet is extremely well-ventilated with its KEP Air Control System, which can easily be adjusted by sliding the “button” on the front grille up or down to open or close the vents. The Cromo 2.0 is also equipped with two additional ventilation slots on the back to ensure optimal breathability.
