This black edition of the Cromo 2.0, with a matte finish and a glossy rose gold grid in the front, has, like all KEP helmets, both an extremely low weight and excellent ventilation. It is also equipped with KEP's smart chin strap, made of genuine leather, with a five-point fastening system that prevents the helmet from sliding forward and ending up in the wrong position, which in turn contributes to optimal protection for your entire head—from the crown to the nape. KEP’s safety design is forward-thinking, and the helmet is, of course, approved according to both the VG1 and EN1384 safety standards, ensuring you feel comfortable and secure in every situation.
Unique to the Cromo 2.0 is the easy removal and replacement of the visor and panels. In other words, you have access to unlimited customization of your helmet, allowing you to adjust its design according to your mood and occasion. The helmet is also equipped with an integrated microchip that can enhance your care in case of an accident by providing surrounding individuals with important information such as allergies, blood type, emergency contacts, etc.

Inner lining, size & fit
The helmet comes in two basic sizes, M and L. You will also need to purchase a liner separately. The Kep Cromo 2.0 has two different liner models—round or oval. Both variants are available in sizes 51-62, so once you know your helmet size, simply choose the model that fits your head shape. If unsure, we recommend the round liner, as it is the most common. See the size guide for instructions on how to measure your head. The inner pad is removable and washable as needed.

The two available liner models are:

A tip is to buy two sets of inner linings, especially if you want to wash them more frequently in the summer. Another reason to get an extra inner pad is if you want to switch between wearing your hair up or down, or wear a hat under the helmet in colder temperatures. In such cases, you can buy a larger liner for more space, and switch back to the original size when it gets warmer.
The same principle applies if you have a growing child; in that case, you can simply buy a larger liner as the child grows, instead of buying a new helmet.
Customization with replaceable visor & panels:
The Cromo 2.0 helmet is designed with an innovative mechanical locking system that allows you to customize your helmet, even after purchase. You can give your helmet a completely new look by easily replacing the visor, front, or rear panels—or why not all three? A popular option is to replace the original visor with a sun visor!

Microchip:
The Cromo 2.0 comes equipped with an integrated microchip, located under the front panel. The chip connects to the KEP app, where you can save warranty details and fill in your health information, such as allergies, blood type, and emergency contacts, which can assist medical professionals in case of an accident. By holding a phone near the helmet’s tip, anyone can access your information without needing the KEP app installed, helping to provide better care in case of emergency.
Ventilation:
The helmet is extremely well-ventilated with its KEP Air Control System, which can be easily adjusted by sliding the button on the front grid up or down to open or close the vents. The Cromo 2.0 is also equipped with two additional ventilation slots on the back to ensure optimal breathability.

Care instructions:
