This black version of the Cromo 2.0, with a matte finish and a wide sun visor, offers—just like all KEP helmets—both extremely low weight and excellent ventilation. It is also equipped with KEP’s smart chinstrap made of genuine leather with a five-point fastening system that prevents the helmet from sliding forward and ending up in the wrong position, which in turn contributes to optimal protection for your entire head—from the crown down to the neck.
KEP’s safety thinking is far-reaching and the helmet is of course approved according to both the VG1 safety standard and the EN1384 safety standard, all so that you may feel comfortable and safe in every situation.
Unique for the Cromo 2.0 is that the visor and panels can easily be removed and replaced. In other words you have access to unlimited personalization of your helmet and can adapt its design according to both mood and occasion. The helmet is also equipped with an integrated micro-chip that can streamline your care in the event of an accident, by providing the surroundings with information about allergies, blood group, emergency contacts etc.
NOTE – the inner liner is sold separately, see Liner/Innerpad KEP Cromo 2.0 and Liner/Innerpad Long KEP Cromo 2.0. The liner can also easily be removed for washing when needed.

Inner liner, size & fit
The helmet comes in two shell sizes, M and L. You will also need to purchase a liner, sold separately.
KEP Cromo 2.0 has two different models of liners, where you can choose either round or oval shape. Both variants come in sizes 51-62, so once you’ve determined your helmet size simply select the model that fits your head shape best. If you’re unsure, we recommend the round because it is the most common. See the size guide for how to measure your head. The inner pad is removable and can be washed when needed.
M – fits size 51-58
L – fits size 59-62
The two different liner models are:
Round – Liner/Innerpad KEP Cromo 2.0
Long/Oval – Liner/Innerpad Long KEP Cromo 2.0
A tip is to purchase two sets of liners, if for example you want to wash the inner pad more often during summer time. Another example of why you may need an extra liner is if you wish to alternate between hair up and down, or wear a cap under the helmet at colder temperatures. In that case you can buy a larger liner that offers room for this, then switch back to the original size liner when warmer. The same principle applies if you have a child who is growing, then you can suffice with buying a new, larger liner in step with the child’s growth instead of needing to buy a whole new helmet.
Personalisation with interchangeable visor & panels
The Cromo 2.0 helmet is designed with an innovative mechanical locking system that makes it possible for you to customise your helmet – even after purchase. You can give your helmet a completely new look by simply replacing either visor, front or rear panel, or why not all three?
KEP Italia has a wide range of both visors and panels in various variants that you can choose from, these are purchased separately.
Micro-chip
The Cromo 2.0 comes equipped with an integrated micro-chip placed under the front panel. The micro-chip is linked to the KEP app where you, besides saving warranty data etc., can fill in your health details, such as allergies, blood group and emergency contacts, which can facilitate and streamline care if accident should happen. By holding a telephone near the tip of the helmet anyone, without needing to have the KEP app installed on their phone, can retrieve your details and better help you when you’re in need.
Ventilation
The helmet is extremely well-ventilated with its KEP Air Control System, which you can easily adjust by sliding the “button” on the front grid up or down to open and close the vents. Cromo 2.0 is also equipped with two additional ventilation slots in the rear to ensure optimal breathability.
