The Ultra Fit Extra Grip spurs with a short, rounded 15 mm neck are designed to provide a slightly softer, controlled impact. The model is made from high-quality, dark grey, break-resistant stainless steel and is part of Sprenger’s Ultra Fit Extra Grip series, where each model is equipped with a durable rubber coating that improves grip against the boot while also protecting the leather from wear.
The fastening is based on the well-known Balkenhol system, featuring a flared centre pin in the spur holder. This construction guides the spur strap so that it sits securely against the inside of the boot without pinching or slipping. For additional adjustment, the spurs can be individually adapted by carefully bending them, ensuring a precise fit to the shape of the foot.
