EGO7 Gemini are short black jodhpur boots with a classic riding style and Italian design. The model features front lacing with a protective front flap and breathable elastic for added comfort and flexibility around the foot and ankle. A pull tab at the heel makes them easier to put on. The elegant toe cap with decorative stitching and double stitching along high-stress areas increases durability, while the hand-stitched rubber sole with a pronounced tread provides secure grip in the stirrup, works well on different surfaces and allows the foot to release quickly in the event of a fall.
The cowhide footbed is combined with a second insole made from antibacterial polyurethane that is highly absorbent and breathable, helping to maintain the skin’s natural balance at different activity levels, reduce bacterial growth and provide effective shock absorption. The drum-tanned cowhide lining without surface coating offers softness, good absorbency and high durability, while developing a beautiful patina with use. The breathable elastic is lightweight and flexible, allows the boot to stretch where needed, facilitates leg movement while riding and contributes to a correct heels-down position and a flexible fit. Gemini can be matched with EGO7 Lyra chaps for a coordinated look and good freedom of movement in the saddle.
For care, the leather sections should be conditioned with EGO7 boot cream to preserve elasticity and durability. Allow the boots to dry after use and store them in a cool, dry and ventilated place, protected from direct heat and sunlight to prevent cracking and stiffness. EGO7 boot cream also provides surface protection against external influences, helps maintain the correct moisture level and preserves the appearance of the material. Apply the cream with a brush over the entire leather surface, wait a few minutes and then polish with a wool cloth. Use boot trees, such as the included inflatable ones, to maintain the shape. The inner E-tex panel does not require polish, cream, spray or grease and should only be cleaned with a damp cloth.
