Pivo Wireless Microphone & Headset is an accessory for your Pivo Pod, developed for use together with Pivo Lesson Mode and designed for riding arenas and training environments with a stable network connection. The system enables riders and trainers to communicate in real time during riding sessions, creating a direct and seamless training experience.
When used in areas with good network coverage, both rider and trainer can hear and speak to each other during an active Lesson Mode session. Communication is wireless and works best within approximately 60 meters from the Pivo Pod.
The round main unit is equipped with practical volume buttons for easy adjustment during riding or training. The device also includes connections for both the included headset with microphone and a lavalier microphone (clip-on/pin mic), depending on how the product is intended to be used.
The headset with microphone is intended for two-way communication in Lesson Mode. It consists of two separate earpieces and allows the rider to both hear instructions and speak back in real time during training.
The lavalier microphone instead functions as a recording microphone and is used to record the rider’s voice directly into the video. It is especially practical for trainers who want to ride a horse while simultaneously recording explanations, instructions, or comments that will be included in the video material. The recording can then be shared with students or other riders via cloud services, where both video and recorded speech can be heard together. However, the lavalier microphone is not intended for two-way communication.
