Eclipse Biofarmab Psyllium Husk is a fibre-rich complementary feed for horses containing 100% psyllium seed husks. The product is specially developed for horses kept in sandy paddocks or at risk of ingesting sand, soil and gravel while grazing or eating from the ground. Psyllium husks may help remove accumulated material from the intestines and thereby reduce the risk of sand colic.
Psyllium husks have a high fibre content and a natural ability to absorb water. When the fibres come into contact with liquid, they form a gel-like mass that may help move sand, soil and gravel through the horse's intestinal tract. The fibres also support normal intestinal function and regular bowel movements.
Psyllium Husk should be mixed dry into the horse's feed immediately before feeding and can preferably be given with moist feed. The product must not be soaked in advance, as the desired gel formation should take place in the horse's gastrointestinal tract. The horse must always have unrestricted access to water during use.
As the product consists of natural ingredients, variations in colour and appearance between packages may occur.

Feeding directions:

- 1.5 scoops daily for up to 30 days
For more intensive use:
- 1.5 scoops twice daily for up to 30 days
1 scoop equals 30 g.
1.5 scoops equal 45 g.
Mix the product dry into the horse's regular feed immediately before feeding. It can be given with moist feed but must not be soaked in advance. Always ensure that the horse has unrestricted access to water.
