Complementary feed for horses consisting of 100% high-quality psyllium seeds (Plantago ovata). Psyllium is used to help transport sand, soil and gravel out of the horse's intestines and is particularly suitable for horses grazing on sandy paddocks, gravel paddocks or in other situations where they may ingest sand or soil together with their feed.
When psyllium seeds come into contact with liquid, they form a gel-like mass that binds sand and other particles in the intestines, facilitating their natural passage through the digestive tract. Regular use may help reduce the accumulation of sand in the intestines and thereby reduce the risk of sand colic.
In addition to helping remove sand, psyllium also supports normal intestinal function by promoting healthy gut motility. It is an excellent supplement for horses kept on sandy ground or horses that tend to graze close to the ground and therefore ingest soil or gravel.
Psyllium is preferably fed mixed into wet feed immediately before feeding. It may also be fed dry, provided the horse always has free access to fresh water. The product should not be soaked before feeding, as the gel should form inside the horse's digestive tract for optimal effect.
As this product is made from natural raw materials, variations in colour, aroma and appearance may occur.

Feeding directions
- Maintenance: 4 scoops daily for up to 30 days
- Therapeutic use: 12 scoops daily for up to 5 days (only in consultation with a veterinarian)
