Muskel-E is a complementary feed for horses with a high concentration of Vitamin E, developed to supplement the diet when the natural Vitamin E content of the feed does not meet the horse's requirements. The product is particularly suitable for horses in training, competition, breeding, or during periods of increased physical exertion or muscle development. Muskel-E contains no selenium and is therefore ideal for horses that already receive sufficient selenium through mineral supplements, complete feeds or salt licks.
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that protects the body's cells against oxidative stress by neutralising free radicals produced during exercise and physical activity. Vitamin E contributes to normal muscle function, oxygen supply to the muscles, blood vessel formation, and supports the normal function of the immune system as well as fertility.
A horse's requirement for Vitamin E varies depending on its diet, training intensity and performance level. Pregnancy, cold weather, feeding haylage or silage, and newly harvested oats may also increase the need for Vitamin E. As Vitamin E is fat-soluble, it is stored in the muscles, fatty tissue and liver, making it important not to exceed the recommended dosage.
Muskel-E contains dextrose for excellent palatability, making it easy to mix into the horse's daily feed.

Feeding directions
- Pony: 0.5 scoop per day
- Horse: 1 scoop per day
- Large horse (over 600 kg): 1.5 scoops per day
Mix thoroughly into the concentrate feed immediately before feeding.
