Eclipse Biofarmab Rehalyt Basic is an electrolyte supplement for horses, developed to restore electrolyte balance after sweating and physical exertion. The product is particularly suitable after training and competitions, during long journeys, in stressful situations or on hot summer days when horses lose large amounts of fluids and salts through sweating.
When horses sweat, they lose not only water but also important electrolytes and trace elements. Electrolytes are salts containing, among other things, sodium, potassium and chloride. They are essential for the body's fluid balance, nerve signalling and normal muscle function. They also help regulate the movement of water between the body's cells.
Horse sweat contains a high concentration of electrolytes, which means that heavy sweating can lead to significant salt losses. If these losses are not replenished, the horse's fluid balance, performance and recovery may be affected. Prolonged electrolyte deficiency can make it more difficult for the horse to maintain normal fluid balance and may lead to muscle cramps or impaired recovery.
Rehalyt Basic contains sodium, potassium and chloride to help replace salts lost through sweating. The product is also enriched with glycine, an amino acid that may facilitate salt absorption, as well as chelated calcium and magnesium. Chelated minerals are bound to organic compounds, which may improve their availability to the body.
As the horse's forage, such as hay, naturally contains high levels of potassium, it is important that electrolyte supplements have a balanced composition adapted to the horse's needs.

Feeding directions:
- After light exertion: 20–30 g
- After intense exertion: 50–60 g
Mix the supplement thoroughly into the horse's regular feed.
60 g of Rehalyt Basic replaces approximately the amount of salts lost through 5 litres of sweat.
1 scoop equals 20 g.
Important: Horses receiving salt supplements must always have unrestricted access to fresh water.
