Kiselgur Forte is a complementary feed for horses containing 100% pure diatomaceous earth (silica), a natural source of silicon with high purity. Silicon is an important mineral that contributes to the normal structure and function of connective tissue, cartilage, tendons, joints, skin, coat and hooves.
Kiselgur Forte is intended for use when the horse's diet does not provide sufficient silicon. It is particularly suitable for horses requiring additional nutritional support for hoof quality, skin, coat and the musculoskeletal system. The need for silicon may increase in horses undergoing regular training, competition or heavy physical work.
Silicon occurs naturally in the body's connective tissue and is an important component of cartilage, tendons, ligaments and bones. It contributes to maintaining strong bones and healthy joints while supporting the strength and structure of connective tissue. This makes silicon particularly valuable for sport horses and other horses exposed to regular physical strain.
Silicon also plays an important role in maintaining healthy hooves, skin and coat. Daily supplementation may help promote a healthy coat and strong hooves.
Kiselgur Forte consists exclusively of pure diatomaceous earth sourced from Scandinavian deposits and contains no added substances.

Dosage
- Pony: 0.5 scoop per day
- Horse: 1 scoop per day
- Large horse (over 600 kg): 1.5 scoops per day
Mix thoroughly into the concentrate feed.
1 scoop = 3 g and provides 1.25 g of silicon.
