Eclipse Biofarmab Epsom Salt MgSO4 is a complementary feed for horses containing 100% magnesium sulphate, also known as Epsom salt or bitter salt. The product is used to supply magnesium to the horse's diet and may be an option when the horse needs additional supplementation of this important mineral.
Magnesium plays an important role in the horse's body and is required, among other things, for normal muscle and nervous system function. The mineral also participates in the body's energy metabolism and contributes to healthy muscle function. Insufficient magnesium intake may manifest itself through muscle tension, nervousness and increased sensitivity to the surroundings.
Epsom Salt contains magnesium in the form of magnesium sulphate and can be used to supplement the horse's daily mineral intake. The product is suitable for horses whose diets require additional magnesium, for example when low magnesium intake is suspected or following an assessment of the horse's mineral balance.
In addition to being used as a feed supplement, Epsom salt can also be used externally in a warm salt bath for the hooves. Such a bath can form part of hoof care for various hoof problems.

Feeding directions:
- Pony: 15 g per day
- Horse: 30 g per day
- Large horse (over 600 kg): 50 g per day
Mix the Epsom salt thoroughly into the horse's concentrate feed.
Important: The product must not be soaked and must always be administered with dry feed.
Use as a hoof bath:
Mix 50 g of Epsom salt into 5 litres of warm water. Use the solution externally as a salt bath for the hooves when needed.
