NAF Liver Support is a veterinary-approved supplement that provides nutritional support for horses with chronic liver insufficiency or impaired liver function.
The formula is based on a combination of botanical ingredients, including milk thistle, together with selected nutrients that are important for the liver. When liver function is impaired, the horse may have difficulty absorbing and storing fat-soluble vitamins such as A, D, E and K. Zinc balance may also be negatively affected, as the liver plays a central role in metabolising and regulating zinc levels.
To meet these needs, Liver Support contains natural vitamin E (RRR) and chelated zinc with good bioavailability. The supplement is completely free from iron and contains a low but high-quality level of protein – adapted for use as long-term support in cases of liver insufficiency.
It is recommended to divide the daily amount into several small portions throughout the day. All changes in feeding should be made in consultation with a veterinarian.

Dosage
Add to the feed daily, divided into several small meals. One scoop contains 60 ml, corresponding to approx. 30 g. Initially feed the supplement for up to six months before re-evaluating.
NAF recommends consulting a veterinarian before use or for extended use.
- Horses & ponies under 450 kg: 15 g/day, approx. 0.5 scoop/day
- Horses & ponies over 450 kg: 30 g/day, approx. 1 scoop/day
A complementary dietary feed for horses only. Store in a cool, dry place. Reseal lid after use. At a daily dose of 30 g, 900 g lasts approximately 30 days.
Different organic acids or salts should not be used simultaneously if one or more are used at or near the maximum permitted level. NAF Liver Support contains a negligible amount of organic acids and does not contain choline.
