The Buddy 2.0 Long Back Dog Coat in orange is a flexible softshell coat specifically designed for dogs with long backs and short legs, such as Dachshunds, Drevers, or Basset Hounds. It features a close-fitting design tailored to this specific body type and closes easily along the back with a wide hook-and-loop fastener.
The outer fabric is water- and wind-repellent with taped seams, while the inside is lined with a lightweight fleece. The material is elastic and supple, making the coat comfortable even during movement. The high collar gently wraps around the neck, providing extra protection in colder weather.
The lining includes Back on Track’s Iontex® technology, which reflects body heat as far infrared energy (FIR). This effect may help stimulate blood circulation and support soft, flexible muscles and joints.
A drawstring at the tail base allows for easy back length adjustment – ideal for dogs between sizes. Elastic leg straps help keep the coat in place. For added visibility in the dark, the coat features a reflective pattern in the outer fabric, additional reflective details, and an elastic reflective trim. Two openings for leash or line provide flexibility when using a harness or collar.
