This fly mask from Shires comes without ears, making it suitable for horses with a lot of forelock as you can place the forelock outside the hood. The design is simple and features an elastic strap over the poll and two strong hook-and-loop fasteners around the poll. The interior is padded around the sensitive areas where the bonnet fits snugly to reduce the risk of chafing. The eye protection is contoured and frees the horse's eyes from direct contact with the material. In addition to protection against flies and insects, the mask also offers 70%+ UV protection.
