Trikem Tar Ointment is a mildly antiseptic ointment with Swedish, kiln-burned pine tar. It is designed to protect the skin and is particularly suitable for oozing and itchy rashes or insect bites. The ointment also masks the horse's scent, making it especially useful during the grazing season.
Tar Ointment contains a combination of kiln-burned pine tar, softening oils and petroleum jelly. The composition provides a water-repellent, softening and protective effect. The product is free from preservatives.

Usage
First clean the wound, preferably with saline solution. Then apply the ointment to the affected areas 1–2 times daily.
