Equine Ointment is a softening and mildly antiseptic ointment that cares for and protects the skin with the help of zinc, oils, wool fat and vitamins A and D. The ingredients can contribute positively to the skin’s natural healing process and help restore dry, sensitive or irritated skin.
Equine Ointment is a well-proven favorite in stables across all disciplines and is especially suitable for use on mud fever, cracked pasterns and minor wounds. The ointment can also be used on other areas where the skin is dry, cracked, sensitive or irritated.
The product is free from preservatives and water and has a water-repellent formula that protects the skin against moisture, snow, wind and cold. It therefore also works well to protect dry hands and chapped lips.
Equine Ointment can advantageously be applied around oozing wounds to protect the surrounding skin from irritation and moisture.
Usage
Massage the ointment into exposed areas 1–2 times daily. Can also be bandaged over. In case of wounds: clean the wound with Trikem’s saline solution before applying Equine Ointment.
