  • The Buzz-Off X Full Neck Fly Rug from Bucas is specially designed to provide the horse with excellent protection against flies, insects, and harmful UV radiation. The material used is a specially woven and lightweight mesh material that effectively blocks flies and resists sun fading. The extra deep sides of the fly rug not only keep flies away but also help air circulate around the horse's legs, providing cooling. The rug wraps around the horse's belly and protects the area from insects.

    The rug fastens easily under the belly with three buckles, and the neck piece is pulled over the ears. Lined with lightweight material for increased comfort and to prevent chafing.

    Washing Instructions:
    Machine wash at 30 degrees, gentle cycle, no centrifugation. Avoid fabric softeners and allow to air dry.

  • Since its inception in 1981, Bucas has developed a wide range of horse blankets for all situations and seasons, from fly rugs to warm winter rugs. Their "Stay-dry" system has received numerous positive reviews, effectively wicking moisture and sweat away to the inner layer where it then dries, all while keeping the horse dry in the process. In the 1990s, Bucas introduced the first thin lightweight rug that was entirely waterproof, designed for use later into spring or earlier in autumn. Despite the impressive achievements mentioned above, the blanket most people associate with Bucas' range is the iconic Zebra blanket, a fly rug with a pattern that flies don't register.
