Does your horse need a bit more space at the chest? Our Chest Expander will make sure every rug fits perfectly. It is easy to use and maintain, providing an extra 19 cm of space. The Chest Expander fits all rugs with the same type of closure, such as the Horseware Amigo rug. It is perfect for horses with a wide chest area or larger horse breeds like the Quarter Horse.
The outside of the Chest Expander is quilted with Vegan Sheepskin and made from 600D polyester with diamond quilting, making it very durable. The inside is made from our well-known artificial Sheepskin, which is also used for our famous Shipping Halter, giving it an extremely soft touch. To keep the Chest Expander in place, there are two buckles and a hook and loop closure.
This Chest Expander provides up to 19 cm of extra space, with a distance of 12 cm between the two buckles.
Most of our products are machine washable at 30 degrees, but we recommend washing as infrequently as possible and using protective washing bags to maintain quality. To dry it, simply put it outside on a sunny day. The dryer is not recommended.
