Does your horse need a bit more space at the chest? Our Chest Expander will make sure every rug fits perfectly. It is easy to use and maintain, extremely soft, and gives an extra 19 cm. The Chest Expander fits every rug with the same type of closure, such as the Horseware Amigo rug. It is perfect for horses with a wide chest area or larger horse breeds like the Quarter Horse.
The outside of the Chest Expander is waterproof and very resistant to tearing. The inside is made out of our well-known artificial sheepskin, which is also used for our famous Sheepskin Shipping Halter, making it extremely soft to the touch. The Chest Expander provides extra protection in the chest area. Besides the buckle, there is also a hook and loop closure to ensure the Chest Expander stays in place.
This Chest Expander gives up to 19 cm extra.
Most of our products are machine washable at 30 degrees. However, we recommend washing it as infrequently as possible and using our protective washing bags to maintain quality over the long term. We also recommend using professional machines (larger capacity) to limit damage due to the drum of the normal washing machine. To dry it, simply put it outside on a sunny day. The dryer is not recommended.
