Kentucky Horsewear Sheepskin Nylon Rug Surcingle for Horse Walker is a practical surcingle designed for use in a horse walker and for lunging. The black surcingle is placed over the horse’s rug and helps keep it in place without the rug needing to be fastened at the front, allowing greater freedom of movement around the shoulders and helping to reduce the risk of rubbing from the rug.
The surcingle is made from durable, lightweight nylon with soft faux sheepskin on the upper section against the horse for added comfort. The faux leather adjustment strap provides an adjustment range of 35 cm, making it possible to adapt the fit. Three rings on the top allow the surcingle to also be used for lunging with different types of training aids. The single-strap construction makes it easy to put on, adjust and remove.
The surcingle has a circumference of 215 cm and can be adjusted by an additional 35 cm. It is machine washable at 30 °C, but the manufacturer recommends washing it as infrequently as possible and preferably using a washing bag to help preserve the quality of the materials. The surcingle should be air-dried and tumble drying is not recommended.
