This lightweight and flexible shoulder guard from Back on Track has many advantageous features and can be used for various purposes. It not only serves as excellent protection against chafing on the withers and chest but is also equipped with Welltex® technology, which, through infrared energy, contributes to increased blood circulation, making it ideal for relieving stiff withers, muscle soreness, and promoting recovery after injuries.
The shoulder guard is made of a lightweight and glossy material that is gentle on the coat and prevents chafing. It is also equipped with soft pads at the shoulder and withers, which help relieve pressure and protect against friction injuries. Its high elasticity makes it very pliable and provides the horse with maximum freedom of movement. The design is well thought out without any sharp edges or seams that can cause discomfort.
The guard is placed over the horse's head and fastened with Velcro straps on the side of the belly.

Welltex®
Welltex® technology works through a unique blend of minerals woven into the fabric. These minerals capture body heat and convert it into long-wave, infrared energy, which increases blood circulation. This, in turn, helps accelerate the recovery of injuries and tense muscles while also acting preventively.
All Back on Track's Welltex® products should be introduced gradually to allow the body to adapt to the effect.
