The padded outer fabric in durable 600D polyester is highly resilient and effectively prevents tears in the rug. The stable rug does not contain traditional filling, but the inside features Kentucky's popular synthetic rabbit fur lining, which creates small air pockets that retain the horse's body heat. The rabbit fur also prevents chafing and gives the horse a glossy coat.
The rug has a perfect fit and is easy to fasten with two front buckles and two surcingles. The buckles are made of stainless steel and are protected a bit extra by Kentucky's popular synthetic sheepskin.
