  • Information
  • Irish Turnout 150 is a functional turnout rug with 150g filling, perfect for variable weather during autumn and milder winter days. The rug combines durability, comfort, and smart features to keep your horse dry, warm, and comfortable in the paddock.

With a durable 1200 denier Ripstop outer fabric and >5000 mm water column, the rug is completely waterproof, while also having high breathability (>3000 g/m²/24h). The unique Dermo-care lining helps to keep the coat in good condition and dries the horse’s coat faster – similar to Stay-dry technology.

Shoulder darts provide better freedom of movement, and the rug is equipped with a T-buckle at the front with a magnetic Snap-lock system for easy on and off. Other thoughtful details include a tail flap, attachments for leg straps, and integrated fittings for use with Bucas liners, rugs, and sweat rugs.

The rug is machine washable at 30°C, follow Bucas washing instructions. Bucas recommends only using Bucas Rug Wash and Bucas Rug Re-Conditioner.

    Size Guide
Follow this guide to find the optimal fit for the horse blanket. Use a soft measuring tape to determine your horse's length. Measure from the point of the shoulder (A) to the rear of the hindquarters (B), seen from the side, in a straight, horizontal line. Then, locate the measurement in the first column that refers to the horse's length (A-B). On the same row as the corresponding measurement, you will find the appropriate size in the "Size" column.
